The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointment: Ben Marc Diendéré becomes Permanent Observer to the African Union, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Mr. Diendéré replaces Stéphane Jobin in this role.
