Minister Ng to attend G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting in Osaka, Japan

The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, will participate in the second G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting on October 28 and 29, 2023, in, Japan.

This meeting, under Japan’s G7 presidency, will provide an opportunity for Canada to further its international trade priorities, including:

  • advancing World Trade Organization reform
  • addressing issues of economic security, including economic coercion
  • promoting resilient and sustainable supply chains
  • fostering inclusive global prosperity

Minister Ng will also meet with international partners to discuss collaboration on trade and investment.
