Announcement of new diplomatic appointments

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:

Michelle Cameron becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Serbia. Ms. Cameron replaces Giles Norman.

Jennie Chen becomes Consul General in Shanghai (People’s Republic of China). Ms. Chen replaces David Murphy.

Tina Guthrie becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Burkina Faso. Ms. Guthrie replaces Lee-Anne Hermann.

Marcel Lebleu becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Senegal. Mr. Lebleu replaces Marie-Geneviève Mounier.

Charles Edwin Reeves becomes Consul General in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (People’s Republic of China). Mr. Reeves replaces Rachael Bedlington.

Sébastien Sigouin becomes High Commissioner in the Co-operative Republic of Guyana and Plenipotentiary Representative to the Caribbean Community. Mr. Sigouin replaces Mark Berman.

Elizabeth Williams becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Colombia. Ms. Williams replaces Marianick Tremblay.
