Announcement of new diplomatic appointments

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:

Mylène Paradis becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of El Salvador. Ms. Paradis replaces Daniel Ahmad.

Marianick Tremblay becomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Cuba. Ms. Tremblay replaces Geoff Gartshore.

Craig Weichel becomes Consul General in Seattle (United States of America). Mr. Weichel replaces Mia Yen.

Brenda Wills becomes High Commissioner in Barbados. Ms. Wills replaces Lilian Chatterjee.
