Greg Fergus

Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health

Represents the riding of Hull—Aylmer

Greg Fergus was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Hull—Aylmer in 2015.

Mr. Fergus has previously served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and to the Minister of Digital Government and as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.

Over the past 25 years, Mr. Fergus has worked in the private, public, non-profit, and academic sectors.

Since moving to the Ottawa-Gatineau area in 1988, Mr. Fergus has been an advocate for social housing and seniors. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Aylmer Arms, a residence for semi-retired and retired seniors, and a member of a local parish council. Previously, he was Vice-President of a neighbourhood association, and was also involved with school committees, sports teams, and organizations promoting regional interests.

Mr. Fergus holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of International Relations from Carleton University. He has also undertaken graduate studies in International Relations.

He and his wife, Julie, have three children.
