Health Canada invites the public to submit written comments on the Canada Gazette, Part I publication on Proposed Amendments to the Pest Control Products Regulations (Exemptions and Product Authorizations).

How to Get Involved

This consultation is open for comment from 13 June 2026 to 28 July 2026 (45 calendar days).

As of 27 September 2022, the Government of Canada has implemented a new online commenting feature that will result in a consistent, predictable approach for stakeholders engaged in regulatory consultations by providing a central platform to support transparent, open, online regulatory consultation and facilitate the posting of comments.

Comments from the public, stakeholders and partners can be submitted through the online commenting feature available in the Canada Gazette, Part I consultation.

Reporting to Canadians

Health Canada will consider all comments received by 28 July 2026, before finalizing the proposal in the Canada Gazette, Part II. Comments that comply with the terms of use will be posted verbatim on Canada Gazette, Part I after the consultation period is closed.
