Consultation on Cydia pomonella Granulovirus strain CMGv4 and Its Associated End-use Product, Proposed Re‑evaluation Decision PRVD2018-11

Cydia pomonella Granulovirus strain CMGv4 is a registered pesticide used by growers to control codling moths on apple trees. The end-use product name is Virosoft CP4, whose label can be found in the pesticide label search database.

Following a scheduled re-evaluation under the Re-evaluation Program, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is consulting Canadians on the proposal to continue use of Cydia pomonella Granulovirus strain CMGv4, with updates to label directions to meet current labelling standards.
