This framework provides a structured approach for identifying, collecting, and managing pesticide use information across diverse sectors in Canada. Pesticide use information encompasses a broad spectrum of information ranging from general agronomic/use practices to detailed product-specific application information needed to conduct risk assessments and develop risk management options. The goal is to enhance the availability of real-world information to support pesticide assessments and timely decisions while supporting food and economic security in Canada. The proposed framework serves as guidance, recognizing that ongoing scientific, technical and policy advancements may require updates in the future.
