WARNING: Your baby's health depends on carefully following the preparation, use, and storage instructions below. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Consult your baby's doctor about the appropriate formula for your baby. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor.
Always wash your hands and utensils before preparing formula. Sterilization or boiling of tap or bottled water and sterilization of utensils is recommended. Your doctor will advise if it is not required. If boiling water, bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute and allow to cool to room temperature before preparing formula.
Pour desired amount of water into bottle. See chart below.

Cap bottle; SHAKE WELL. Feed baby immediately OR refrigerate and use bottle within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
NOTE: Only if necessary, refrigerate freshly prepared bottle and use contents within 24 hours. Refrigerator temperature should be maintained between 35-40°F (2-4°C).
WARNING: Do not use microwave to warm formula. Serious burns may results.

Managing baby's allergy
Cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) is the most common food allergy in infancy. CMPA occurs when a baby's immune system reacts to the protein in cow's milk. Your pediatrician will recommend the right nutritional solution so you can be reassured that your baby will be getting the nutrients needed for healthy growth & development.
Gerber®Good Start®Extensive HA®formula is a complete source of nutrition for babies with CMPA. It is clinically proven to be hypoallergenic, made with 100% high quality whey protein, broken down into very small pieces designed to be well-tolerated by most infants with CMPA; Probiotic B. lactis; a special fat blend with MCT oil; and DHA.
The goodness inside.
Probiotic B. lactis in Gerber®Good Start®Extensive HA®formula helps support baby's digestive health. B. lactis is a probiotic that is safe for infants and similar to those naturally found in breastmilk.
Gerber®Good Start®Extensive HA®is also lactose-free to help ease fussiness and gas associated with lactose intolerance.
