Mike Albert: We were looking for employees to hire for this project and hired quite a few local folks, but we were running out of local talent to sew at this level and decided that we needed to look internationally.

Visual: A variety of different scenes featuring people working in a factory appear on screen.

Mike Albert: Without the AIP program there would be no potential growth for us here. We’re in a fairly small community and this is a very rare skill.

Visual: Visual returns to a man speaking directly to the camera.

Mike Albert: I would absolutely recommend the AIP program to other employers, because, you know, finding skilled workers in many industries in Canada is getting more difficult and it is a way for our nation to grow its economic development.

Visual: Man on screen walks through a sewing factory. He stops to talk to employees who are working at sewing machines. He stops walking and smiles at the camera.
