Exemptions for graduates from recognized post-secondary institutions in Atlantic Canada

You don’t need qualifying work experience if you’re an international student who has graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada.

Exemptions for health care workers

Work experience in NOC 31201 (licensed practical nurses) and NOC 31301 (registered nurses) can be used for a job offer in

  • NOC 33102 (TEER 3) ‒ Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
  • NOC 44101 (TEER 4) ‒ Home support workers, caregivers and related occupations
