Government of Canada to announce multimillion-dollar investment in international health research on National Child Day

Toronto, Ontario – November 17, 2017 – Canadian Institutes of Health Research

Bill Blair, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and to the Minister of Health, on behalf of Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Canada’s Minister of Health, will mark National Child Day by announcing funding for a major health research initiative focused on improving child health. 

Following the announcement, Mr. Blair will participate in a photo opportunity in the Labour and Delivery Unit of St. Michael’s Hospital.
