NRCan's Annual Science Odyssey Funfest - Science Fun for the Whole Family on Saturday, May 14, at 580 Booth by Dows Lake in Ottawa
Media Advisory
OTTAWA — Natural Resources Canada will again be hosting its popular Science Odyssey Funfest, a one-day celebration of science and learning experience for youth.
Science Odyssey Funfest will feature family-focused and hands-on activities with scientists from the federal government, universities and private-sector organizations.
This annual event aims to make science accessible, show the importance of science and technology in our everyday lives and spark interest about careers in these fields.
The event takes place outdoors and indoors at Natural Resources Canada’s Booth Street complex at the corner of Carling and Booth Streets, right across from Dows Lake where the Canadian Tulip Festival is being held at the same time.
We invite local media to attend Science Odyssey Funfest and to help us convey the importance of science and technology to the quality of life that Canadians enjoy.
