December 9, 2020 - Government of Canada officials will offer a technical briefing on the Canada-United Kingdom Trade Continuity Agreement (Canada-U.K. TCA) following the tabling of its implementation legislation.
The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, will join Isabelle Hudon, Canada’s Ambassador to France, for a panel discussion with Canadian women entrepreneurs. They will discuss the importance of helping women-led businesses tap into the European Union market and talk about the opportunities created by the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.
The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, will kick off the CETA Business Summit by delivering remarks and speaking with 4 women exporters to discuss their stories of success as exporters to the EU. The summit is a 3-day virtual seminar for small businesses and entrepreneurs across Canada to learn about how exporting into the European market can help grow their businesses, thanks to the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade will give the keynote speech at the 40th anniversary celebration for the Trade Facilitation Office Canada. The Minister will highlight how this 40-year partnership has been instrumental in helping small and medium-sized businesses explore new trade opportunities in developing countries that are sustainable and that benefit everyone.
