Today, Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Tim Hodgson, met with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Industry and Technology and CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), H.E. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber. The ministers discussed ongoing Canada–UAE cooperation in energy and natural resources and the UAE’s investment interest in Canada’s major energy projects. Both sides agreed to maintain close engagement to advance shared priorities and explore opportunities for partnership between Canadian and UAE stakeholders.
