Eligible Canadian residents to receive their first pollution pricing rebate of the year

On January 15, 2024, people living in provinces where the federal fuel charge applies will receive their first pollution pricing rebate of the year through direct bank deposit or by cheque. This means a family of four will receive a pollution price rebate, called the Climate Action Incentive payment, in the following amounts:

On December 14, 2023, at the Longueuil courthouse, Les Entreprises Antoine Stabile & fils inc. pleaded guilty to one count of violating prohibitions under the Emergency Order for the Protection of the Western Chorus Frog (Great Lakes / St. Lawrence–Canadian Shield Population) (the Emergency Order), in contravention of the Species at Risk Act.
