Canadian, French and British representatives, alongside Veterans, Canadian youth and their guests will participate in a ceremony at the National War Memorial to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, and to remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

The Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development; Stéphane Lauzon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence; Veterans and honoured guests will mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy with a special ceremony as part of the commemorative journey across Canada to Halifax.
