While Fraud Prevention Month is drawing to a close, it’s important to remember that fraud prevention continues year round. Few areas of life are untouched by fraud. Romance, health, employment, tax payments, online shopping, loans, and tech support are just a few examples of areas where fraudsters like to focus their efforts, targeting youngsters, retirees and in some cases, businesses.
Today, the Competition Bureau published the final version of its revised Intellectual Property Enforcement Guidelines (IPEGs). The Bureau has carefully considered all comments and submissions it received after inviting feedback on the draft version of the revised IPEGs.
