“As we celebrate Women’s History Month, including International Day of the Girl on October 11 and Persons Day on October 18, let’s take the opportunity to recognize the women and girls in Canada who have made, and continue to make, a lasting impact on our country’s history with this year’s theme, #MakeAnImpact.
“On International Women's Day, all Canadians are invited to celebrate women’s contributions to our country. While we have made significant progress toward achieving gender equality, we know much more work is needed to end discrimination, toxic workplaces, and gender bias throughout our society.
