A Canadian soldier died on November 21, 2014 of wounds resulting from injuries after an incident yesterday in Garrison Petawawa, Ontario. At the time of the incident, he was on a training program with The Royal Canadian Dragoons and belonged to 2 Service Battalion.
The Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, and the Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls, Minister of National Defence, will make an announcement. New defence infrastructure is in line with the Canada First Defence Strategy, which sets a detailed road map for the modernization of the Canadian Armed Forces. These new constructions will help replace dated defence infrastructure and support a first-class, modern military that is ready to take on the challenges of the 21st century.
