The Government of Canada to announce funding supporting infrastructure improvements in Inuvik

Inuvik, Northwest Territories, March 30, 2026 — The Honourable Rebecca Alty, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Member of Parliament for the Northwest Territories, on behalf of the Honourable Rebecca Chartrand, Minister of Northern and Arctic Affairs and Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, along with Peter Clarkson, Mayor of the Town of Inuvik, will announce funding to support water and wastewater infrastructure improvements in Inuvik.
