Reporting on other government funding

Your Contribution Agreement limits the maximum total funding, from federal, provincial and municipal government sources (i.e. stacking) to 100% of operating costs during the term of the Contribution Agreement as per Section 3.7 and Attachment A, Section I.vii. In other words, total government funding received cannot exceed your total operating costs (not including depreciation).

Government funding includes any federal, provincial or municipal funds received whether they are a grant or contribution and repayable or non-repayable.

Should the stacking limit set out in the Statement of Work of your Contribution Agreement be exceeded, the Minister has the right to recover any excess assistance paid up to the total of the Contribution disbursed as a debt due to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada. These debts will be due upon notice to the Recipient and any amounts unpaid after 30 days from the day of notice will be subject to interest.
