Gender Based Analysis Plus

Governance structures	Not applicable. The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) provides data analysis to Public Safety in support of Gender Based Analysis Plus (GBA+), as Public Safety Canada is responsible for developing legislative policy.
Human resources	Not applicable. At this stage, the PBC has not identified how many resources will work on GBA+ during 2019-20.
Planned initiatives	The PBC plans to develop a strategy to ensure a GBA+ lens is applied to the PBC’s activities. The PBC has commenced work to explore the unique needs of women offenders in the parole process to provide a gender-responsive approach for women through enhancements to its policies, procedures, and practices.
