Minister Olszewski to highlight Canada Child Benefit’s more generous support making life more affordable for Alberta families

July 16, 2026 – Camrose, Alberta – The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan), will be joined by His Worship PJ Stasko, Mayor of the City of Camrose, to highlight the increase to the Canada Child Benefit, which is helping to lower costs for families in Alberta and across Canada.

Minister Olszewski will make the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Anna Gainey, Secretary of State (Children and Youth).
