This evaluation of the Community Action Program for Children covers the period 2004-2009 and examines the extent to which the program is making progress towards its objectives as established in the 2003 Results-Based Management and Accountability Framework.

In addition to periodic studies such as this evaluation, the Public Health Agency of Canada reviews its children's programming on an ongoing basis to ensure relevance vis-à-vis the changing needs of Canadians, as well as to ensure alignment with Government of Canada and Agency priorities, roles and responsibilities as they evolve.
