Vaccines for COVID-19: Canada’s vaccine supply

On this page

Making vaccines available to everyone

COVID-19 vaccines are available to every eligible person in Canada. There are currently enough vaccine doses in Canada to meet the needs of the eligible population.

Vaccine supply continues to be managed strategically to best support both Canada's evolving domestic needs and global vaccination efforts.

Canada's vaccine supply includes a central inventory allocated to the provinces and territories and held at their request. It also includes supply to provide provinces and territories with continued access to vaccines for newly eligible populations and for additional doses that may be needed over time.

The vaccine distribution table (updated every Thursday) below describes the quantities of COVID-19 vaccines that have been delivered to provinces and territories.

Vaccine distribution

As of December 2, 2021 there are 10,927,470 COVID-19 vaccine doses in the central vaccine inventory.
