Current report: for June 23 to June 29, 2019 (Week 26)
- In Canada, three new cases of measles and no new cases of rubella were reported in week 26, 2019. Currently, there are six activeFootnote 1 cases of measles in Canada.
- Seventy-five (75) cases of measles and no cases of rubella have been reported in Canada in 2019. These cases have been reported by Québec, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Ontario, Alberta, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
- Globally, there are large measles outbreaks which have affected a large number of countries. Canadians travelling outside of Canada are invited to consult the travel health notices for more information.
