National Child Day
Information for Educators
Research shows that children and youth who are aware of their rights and the rights of others develop positive peer relations, have better school performance, and possess higher self-esteem. By increasing awareness of children's rights as an educator, you can help to promote and improve the health and well-being of children and youth in Canada.
Celebrate and promote the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child by engaging children and youth in activities, games, and/or community projects. This website offers resources to help you plan your activities to commemorate this important day and to celebrate rights all year long!
