Information Update on Currently Approved Vaccines
The information appearing in Table 1. Type and Contents of Vaccines Currently Approved for Use in Canada, on pages 7 to 16 of the Canadian Immunization Guide, 7th edition, has been updated since May 2006. Revisions have been made to reflect the current content in product monographs, and information on newly-approved vaccines has been added. The updated table may also be accessed through the Public Health Agency of Canada’s webpages for the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (www.naci.gc.ca) and for the Canadian Immunization Guide (http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/publicat/cig-gci/index-eng.php). Since the information in the table below is based on the product’s availability as of March 2008, please consult the manufacturer for complete and up-to-date information.
