Narration: If you are travelling by air, land or sea you are required to provide essential information before you arrive, using ArriveCAN.

Narration: ArriveCAN is a user-friendly digital tool to help travellers comply with Canada’s border measures quickly and securely.

The ArriveCan logo is visible on the smartphone’s screen. The logo is composed of two hands that surround a circle which contains a maple leaf. A Canada word mark is visible underneath.

Narration: It is available as a mobile app or by signing in online.

The app is highlighted within the phone’s main screen.

Narration: Within the 72 hours before your arrival in Canada, you must use ArriveCAN to submit:

Narration: If you are a fully vaccinated traveller, you must submit your proof of vaccination in ArriveCAN to be considered eligible from certain public health requirements.

If you’re a fully vaccinated traveller from a foreign nation eligible to enter Canada, you must show your ArriveCAN receipt to your airline carrier in order to board your flight.

You must be ready to show your ArriveCAN receipt when seeking entry into Canada.

A border services officer will verify that you have submitted your information digitally.

Narration: After entering Canada, travellers who are required to quarantine or isolate must confirm that they have arrived at their place of quarantine or isolation. During their quarantine period, travellers must provide a daily COVID-19 symptom self-assessment.
