Public Safety Minister to participate in a media availability

The Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, will provide an update on the response to wild fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Vehicle access to the RCMP Academy, Depot Division, has been temporarily restricted to accommodate the Royal Road Race. For this reason, members of the media are advised to use the visitor parking lot outside the 11^th Avenue gate.

Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. at the pedestrian gate adjacent to the vehicle gate (west of the visitor lot, not the gate next to the RCMP Chapel).

Depot Division personnel will be on hand to escort you to the Drill Hall. Be advised an escort is required at all times while on Depot Division grounds.
