Government to make an announcement about preventing gun crime and gang violence in Winnipeg

Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister of Northern Affairs and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada and for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, on behalf of the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, to make an announcement to prevent gun crime and gang violence in Winnipeg.

He will be joined by His Worship Scott Gillingham, Mayor of Winnipeg.

Following the announcement, Minister Vandal and Mayor Gillingham will take questions from the media.
