Further to its recent evaluation of the Priority Administration Program and consultations on potential changes to improve the Priority Information Management System (PIMS), the Public Service Commission (PSC) is in the process of adding a new feature that will provide assistance in managing surplus priority entitlements. This new feature will allow PIMS to inform home organizations when their surplus employees are referred to positions in other organizations.
In order to facilitate the management of this feature, we are asking that organizations create a generic e-mail address to which these auto-generated messages can be sent. This will ensure that organizations are provided with the information regardless of changes to their human resources staff.
Your organization’s assistance in providing the PSC with this generic e-mail address is greatly appreciated.
As the system will begin sending these e-mails as of August 22, 2011, a reply by July 29, 2011, is required to ensure that the PSC has sufficient time to amend PIMS. Generic e-mail addresses should be sent to Thérèse Simard, Senior Analyst, Priority Administration, at email@example.com.
