Post Secondary Recruitment – Job referrals
Requests for candidates from the PSR campaign take place throughout the year.
Candidate referrals provided to a hiring organization will vary, depending on the nature of the job requirements.
Hiring organizations can apply a top-down model, higher pass marks or random selection in their requests for candidate referrals. Simply passing a test may not be enough to have you referred. Other criteria you responded to while applying may also be applied.
Your status for any PSR job applications will be communicated to you via a note in your online applicant account.
If you are referred to a hiring organization for further consideration, the organization will communicate with you directly about the next steps in the assessment process. The PSR team does not receive updates from these organizations.
Turning down a job
If you turn down a job offer, you will still remain in the process; however, there is no guarantee that you will be offered other job opportunities in the future.
No job offer
If you did not get a job through this year's PSR campaign, you can apply again to future PSR opportunities. Sign up for email alerts via your account at jobs.gc.ca (select ‘Graduate Programs’) to be notified when we advertise new opportunities.
