Internal Audit Tests

The Structured Interview and the Structured Reference Check were developed by the Personnel Psychology Centre (PPC) specifically for the internal audit community to provide hiring managers with the selection tools to fill positions at the Senior Internal Auditor (AS-05), Internal Audit Project Leader (AS-06), and Internal Audit Principal (AS-07) levels in the Operations Stream. The competencies assessed by these tools are those defined in the Internal Audit Competency Dictionary.

Candidates without internal audit experience

The Structured Interview and the Structured Reference Check for candidates without Internal Audit experience are intended to assess candidates who do not have a background or work experience in Internal Audit, but who may nonetheless demonstrate the competencies required for an Internal Audit position due to experience in related fields such as research or program evaluation.

Chief Audit Executive

The Structured Interview and the Structured Reference Check were developed by the Personnel Psychology Centre (PPC) specifically to provide hiring managers with the selection tools to fill positions at the Chief Audit Executive level. The competencies and behaviours assessed by these tools are selected from the Chief Audit Executive Competency Profile and the Key Leadership Competencies.
