Fundamentals in Assessment Accommodation: Level 1
The Personnel Psychology Centre (PPC) has developed a half day introductory workshop on assessment accommodation. Delivered by PPC test accommodation experts, this Level 1 workshop offers HR advisors and hiring managers the opportunity to enhance their knowledge on:
- collection and use medical documentation,
- defensible assessment accommodation,
- potential risks.
The workshop will provide an overview of the most recent developments in assessment accommodations and help to demystify the assessment of persons with disabilities for appointment processes. Assessment theory will be complemented by sample cases and exercises designed to answer practical questions such as:
- What information is most relevant in a medical or psychological report?
- What technological assessment options are available?
- Should extra time be given to a test-taker and, if so, how much?
- When should one seek expert advice?

To register, complete the Participant Registration Form (Available to federal public servants only).
Sessions require a minimum of five participants with a maximum of 12 seats available per session. The price per participant is $150.
If the number of participants exceeds 12 per session, a waiting list will be created for an additional session to take place in the months to come.
