The Recruitment of Policy Leaders program recruits exceptional leaders who have various backgrounds, experience, skills and competencies to help tackle Canada’s public policy challenges in mid to senior-level policy jobs. Here’s what we look for when recruiting exceptional policy leaders.

  1. Review your job requirements and compare it with the program criteria to know if they meet your needs.
  2. Go to GCpedia to find the profiles of successful candidates and their employment availability. Connect with us to obtain the résumés and assessment results of the candidates who interest you. If a candidate is required to travel for an interview, the program will cover the costs. Contact the candidate’s mentor to coordinate.
  3. Arrange for security clearance and Second Language Evaluation (if necessary). Obtain your priority clearance number and ensure the conditions of employment are met. If necessary, candidates can be assessed against any additional job requirements and organizational needs.
  4. Hire and onboard your new recruit(s) and send us the signed letter of offer.
