A new service for recipients of Canada Pension Plan payments
Let’s keep it simple. Tell us once.
Keeping your information up to date has never been simpler!
The Government of Canada has introduced a “tell us once” approach for people receiving Canada Pension Plan (CPP) payments. Now they can update and share their direct deposit banking information with either the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or Employment and Social Development Canada in a single transaction, ensuring CPP recipients receive or to continue to receive CPP payments as well as CRA payments promptly by direct deposit.
If you’re receiving CPP payments, you can update your banking information in My Account, MyCRA mobile web app or My Service Canada Account.
Or you can choose to update your information:
- by calling the Canada Revenue Agency or Service Canada
- by visiting a Service Canada Centre
- by completing the Canada direct deposit enrolment form
With this new approach, telling us is quick, easy and convenient! Don’t miss out on your payments; update your banking information today.
