If you file your taxes electronically by March 15, 2024, you should receive your next CCR payment (formerly known as the Climate action incentive payment) on April 15, 2024. If you file after March 15, 2024, generally, you can expect to get your CCR payment 6-8 weeks after your tax return has been assessed.

To receive the benefits and credits you may be eligible for, you need to file your income tax and benefit return every year. Start by gathering your documents to report income and claim deductions, and choose how you want to file and send your completed tax return to the CRA.

Understand your rights as a taxpayer and who should file a tax return.
