January 14, 2016 Ottawa, Ontario Canada Revenue Agency

Auto fill my return draws from information the CRA already has on file related to:

Launching Auto-fill my return is just one of the many ways in which the CRA is fulfilling its commitment to client focused service, and supporting Canadians who wish to file taxes using no paper forms. Complementing this, the CRA is also introducing a series of other new measures that will help Canadians access the benefits to which they are entitled, and to understand and fulfill their tax obligations every year. Other service improvements include making it easier for Canadians to apply for the Disability Tax Credit, improved CRA correspondence that is easier to understand, and expanding the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program to reach individuals whose first language is neither French nor English.
