SR&ED virtual service visit

The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program is piloting a new virtual service for claimants that provides an opportunity to meet with a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) SR&ED representative.

This service will help claimants:

• distinguish between SR&ED and non-SR&ED work
• identify the scope of work for SR&ED projects
• identify employee activities or qualifying work - this process includes support work (engineering, design, operations research, mathematical analysis, computer programming, data collection, testing, or psychological research)
• allocate and track qualifying expenditures for SR&ED projects
