Multiple records
This situation concerns the number of records submitted for contributions made by a particular contributor to a particular plan. An individual may make several contributions to their RRSP during a contribution year. However, for purposes of the RRSP contribution information return, you are only required to include one record per contributor and per plan. You are only required to send us more than one record for an individual if that individual contributed to more than one RRSP.
Example
An individual made the following RRSP contributions to the same RRSP during the 2022 contribution year (March 2, 2022, to March 1, 2023):

| March 1 | Other - HBP repayment | $1,333 |
The total contributions made between January 1, 2023 and March 1, 2023 is $1,833.
