Submitting your qualified natural gas energy system plan

You must have submitted a system plan and received a qualified natural gas energy system evaluation from NRCan to claim the Clean Electricity ITC for a project that includes qualified natural gas energy equipment costs.
NRCan’s secure portal for system plan submission is under development.
Tax-exempt entities
You do not require a business number with a “corporation income tax - RC” program account type to submit your qualified natural gas energy system plan to NRCan. However, you must have a business number with a “corporation income tax - RC” program account type before claiming the Clean Electricity ITC.
