You cannot file a foreign convention rebate application online.

Filing deadline
The CRA must receive your rebate application within one year after the last day of a convention.
Documents to include
Attach copies (do not send original receipts) of all of the following information and documents to your application:
- Convention agenda, itinerary, or event program
- Invoices or receipts showing the GST/HST and/or QST paid
- Complete hotel folios (that is, the entire hotel bill)
- If you are an exhibitor, a document showing that the exhibition space was rented, even if there was no GST/HST payable
The documents must prove that you paid the GST/HST or QST or both on the supplies. An invoice that shows only tax payable (but not paid) is not acceptable. Receipts and supporting documentation sent with your application will not be returned to you.
The supporting documents must be in either English or French, or you must provide a translation.
Your rebate claim may be delayed or denied if the documents required are not sent with your application.
