Export permits for softwood lumber

The North America Trade Policy Bureau (NATPB) authorizes, under the discretion of the Minister of International Trade, the import and export of goods restricted by quotas or tariffs. For more information on how to apply for an export permit, go to Global Affairs Canada, Trade – export controls.
