2017 Meeting of the CCME

At this year’s meeting, ministers will review progress of their collective actions in addressing climate change. As part of this effort, they will release the 2017 State of the Air Report. The Ministers will also meet with national Indigenous organizations to learn from their leadership and resilience on climate change.

This year, the CCME Presidency will be transferred from the British Columbia Minister of Environment to Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change. She will hold this position for a year and host and chair the next meeting in 2018.
