Climate Action 150 town hall

On May 18 at 12:00 p.m. ET we invite you to join us for a Facebook Live town hall!

As part of the GreenLearning Canada Foundation Climate Action 150 project, students from 25 high schools across Canada investigated the impacts of climate change in their communities.

Working with experts and community groups, the students have developed recommendations to address these environmental challenges, and are ready to present their findings to the Minister.

The panel will include Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Mary McGrath, Executive Director, GreenLearning and host Terry Godwaldt, Centre for Global Education.

The climate action presentations will focus on 3 topics:

  • Greening our Energy Supply
  • Accelerating sustainable transportation
  • Reducing waste
