Shared Services Canada is mandated to standardize and consolidate the delivery of services related to email, networks, data centres and end-user information technology (IT) that allow public servants to work collaboratively across the Government of Canada to serve Canadians.

Which organizations must, and which organizations may, receive these services from Shared Services Canada are defined by the 2015-1071 Order in Council and the 2016-0003 Order in Council, along with exclusions, terms and conditions.
