Artemis II: Media invited to view SLS core stage at Kennedy Space Center

Longueuil, Quebec, — NASA is inviting media to view the arrival and unloading of the fully assembled Space Launch System (SLS) core stage at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The SLS is the rocket that will take the Orion spacecraft and the Artemis II crew to space, including Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
The event will take place in late . Media will be able to see the nearly 65-metre-high core stage of the SLS before it is transported to the Vehicle Assembly Building, as well as the pair of solid rocket boosters inside the Rotation, Processing and Surge Facility at the spaceport. Media will also get the opportunity to ask questions to NASA and industry subject matter experts.
