Our Commitment to Service
At the Office of the Taxpayers' Ombudsman, we are committed to providing the best possible service to taxpayers who contact our office. We fulfill this commitment to service by following two underlying service standards.
The Office of the Taxpayers' Ombudsman:
- acknowledges receipt of taxpayer contact and/or complaints within two business days - 95% of the time; and
- provides taxpayers with an update, once the examination of their complaint begins, every 15 business days - 80% of the time.
